Joe’s career of over 35 years spans both the manufacturer and research sides of the business. Along with his partner, Ron Silver, Joe guided Target Research’s success from 1992 through 2001 when the acquisition by the MVL Group was completed.
Joe has extensive experience in food products, personal products and durables. Given the years he spent on both sides of the fence, he is able to provide a perspective that is rare in the research world.
Before a study is undertaken, Joe and his team work in tandem with the client to uncover the root-marketing problem and how the solution will be integrated into the company’s marketing strategy. The study is designed to obtain the right information and to maximize actionable decision-making.
Joe’s clients have come to depend on his sound judgment and advice. In the words of his clients, who in many instances have been working with him for over twenty years, Joe is most valued for “his quiet confidence, depth of knowledge, his ability to grasp any situation, and to stay in calm control of any situation until a solution is reached.” Like all of Target Research’s senior personnel, Joe actually puts into practice the “Team” approach and “partnership-with-our-clients” philosophy on which Target Research was founded.
