Greg Spagna

CEO and Chairman of the Board

  • Spagna’s academic and professional background includes nearly thirty-five years of high level work in statistics, survey design, research management and marketing. Mr. Spagna has authored numerous articles and publications. He has been a frequent speaker at trade associations and his favorite topic concerns “Passion and Truth in Business.”
  • Greg began his career at Market Facts where he created numerous syndicated products and was appointed Chief Operating Officer.
  • From there he founded his own research company, Spagna Dunn, which he continues to run as a partner of Target Research Group.
  • A lifetime jogger, Greg published “Run to Live”, which presents life lessons learned from fifty years of jogging. “Every jog is a thought,” says Greg, and lessons are everywhere.
  • Greg runs his company with a family touch, and considers all his employees as members of his family.
  • He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from The City College of New York and an MBA in Statistics from Baruch College.

Patrick Gorman

Chief Marketing Officer

  • Patrick J. Gorman has over 25 years of marketing and technology development experience. During his career, he worked extensively to bring to market a variety of innovative technologies, including “disruptive technologies” that effectively and fundamentally changed business models.
  • His career encompasses senior management positions at a variety of firms, including Research International, Equifax/Elrich and Lavidge, Synovate, and Quester.
  • In 2012, Mr. Gorman joined Q Research Solutions to manage a financial and operational turnaround. As the Managing Director, he led a team that implemented new technologies and repositioned the company for financial success.
  • In 2016, Mr. Gorman joined Target Research Group as the CMO where he works with a group of senior full-service custom researchers to add appropriate technologies to high quality research projects.

Steve Cook

Chief Financial Officer

  • Steve Cook has nearly a half century of dedication to the marketing research industry. He has held senior position in such prestigious companies as Market Facts, Burke Marketing Research and Custom Research, among others.
  • In 1996, Steve was given the opportunity to become part of the skunkworks that became Greenfield Online, one of the earliest online research companies.
  • He been responsible for a variety of activities during his career, including client service, sales, marketing and finance.
  • In 2013, Steve became the Chief Financial Operator of the company.

  • Professionally Trained Chef from the Culinary Institute of America, where she worked at such renowned institutions as Windows on the World in NYC, the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, and several resorts in Nantucket before opening a catering business.
  • 25 years as a market researcher in the field of consumer and sensory research behavior, mentored by Dr. Howard Moskowitz, specializes in strategic design such as social media research, food and beverage innovation, product development, category appraisals, packaging, product optimization and segmentation analysis
  • Michele is an adjunct professor at the Culinary Institute of America teaching senior year level marketing, market research and advanced analytics
  • She is a member of the Culinary Science Board of Directors at Culinary Institute of America
  • She is an Industry Author and Industry Speaker
